In Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, we found the Manipura ethic café on the 13th floor of the Globus Center. We step out of the elevator and into a place of culinary and spiritual rest. The biggest part of the floor is the Yoga Shahi Studio. On the way to the café we walk through long corridors, whose walls are decorated with expressive, painted pictures.
Where body and soul are connected, good food is not far away. In the meat-orienteded country, the vegan food of the café seems to us just like a little island of enjoyment. In addition to the classics of falafel and hummus also bowls are offered and changing lunch menus. We were happy to find a wide range of vegetable milk shakes next to smoothies on the drinks section of the menu.
The restaurant has a very relaxed atmosphere with smooth lights, soft meditation sounds and Indian decorative elements that match the associated yoga studio.
